Which quirky habit annoys you the most, and what quirky habit do you love — in yourself, or others asks the ubiquitous daily prompter……………
characterized by peculiar or unexpected traits.“her sense of humor was decidedly quirky”
synonyms: eccentric, idiosyncratic, unconventional, unorthodox, unusual, strange,bizarre, peculiar, odd, outlandish, zany;
Okay, I can see this one is going to be a Suze basher………”quirky”? me? I suppose I meet the broad definition of Quirky, but I don’t like it very much………
I see it as someone that just doesn’t quite fit in……that’s just a tad bit different…a little bit odd. Okay, you have me there.
Like “National Wear a Plunger on your Head Day”……now it could be that this is strictly an American holiday (not really sure about that) but it is odd even to me………
I tend to dress just a bit differently than the “normal Americans” and my friends and associates are a tad different as well.
ok, so Danny boy next to me does classify as Bizarre but in his defense, he was just one of three guards at the dungeons that day. And I really LIKE my monkey hat even if it is mostly pink camo colored. it’s warm and that is important you know!
I suppose I could be described as unconventional….I really don’t know very many people like me..I can hear my friends all mumbling right about now that it is a very GOOD thing that there is only one of me.
I do tend to be a bit…well……..snarky at times. Again, in my defense, it is just so bloody HARD NOT to be snarky at times. People are generally so blasted stupid in some of the things they say and snarkiness is a human defense against stupid people. (I just made that up)
I do have a poster that a friend made me though and she proved that I invented Snarkiness……….at least I am part of its definition…….that’s CLOSE to inventing it isn’t it? sigh I should probably just give up and stop trying to prove I am not weird.
